If I make a tax return and I believe I am due a refund How Soon Before I Get It?

I submitted my tax returns last week, the deadline for the due date of October 2010. I had just received the forms and decided to do it and dusted in one or two days. I think I am entitled to the refund and wondered, should I wait until Oct before I can expect communication from the Inland Revenue on this issue, or could I heard of them before? Basically, if a tax return earlier than the due date, you can expect to an earlier Reply hear?

If there was a paper back, you could wait 8-9 days. If it was submitted online, is almost immediate recovery.
